This artwork is created by me, Kyra Armstrong, a cowgirl who was born and raised here at Armstrong Angus Ranch.  I love my cows and riding up in the mountains. I also enjoy helping on the ranch in any way I can, but I’m not much of a mechanic!   

I like taking pictures and expressing my life on the ranch and my faith in Jesus Christ through ink art, pencil drawings, glass etching and woodburning. My bone art is all done with a fine point sharpie marker. By using little dots I create pictures on ranch sourced, authentic skulls and scapula bones. After I’m done with the picture, it is coated with a special finish to help protect the art and then add a leather strap for hanging the bone. My pencil drawings I have printed into calendars, greeting cards, coffee mugs and other fun items that you can use in everyday life, or as a fun piece of art. Using a woodburner I create Christmas ornaments, and embellish felt hats. I also etch small pictures and Bible verses onto baking dishes, pie plates, and drinking glasses.  My artwork is a perfect way to bring a bit of the Western flair into your home, cabin, workplace or a gift for someone special!
